TA DA!!! Show #1 – Friday 18th April – BeachGrooves Radio

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I’m pleased to be able to post my first broadcast on BeachGrooves Radio. The show went well even though I was a little nervous for my first outing. Massive thanks to Steve Canueto for coming in early and guiding me through the maze of knobs and sliders of this crazy setup and big thanks to The BeachGrooves management for allowing me the airtime…love it.

The recording of the show is here. Although the show is an audio only stream I have managed to record the video session while in the studio for your viewable pleasure. There’s also an MP3 download available for you to keep and listen to whenever you wish.

Concentrating on Deep house and soulful grooves, this is the sort of radio station pushing out more of the music I personally love.

The new show goes out LIVE every Friday from 6pm (CET) and this is a recording of the session. Unlike the old shows, this was an audio only broadcast but I was recording the video in the studio for the world of YouTube.

I’ve gone in easy for the first show, digging out some classics from shows gone by in years gone by. Over the course of the coming weeks I shall be taking my usual step onto the deeper sides.

Tito joins Beachgrooves Radio, Deep house music station, Marbella

I’m on a new radio station!

Summer is here and the need to get myself out there grows more and more each day. Inline with this fact I went down today for a meeting with the owner of Beachgrooves Radio here in Marbella. I’ve managed to secure a slot on one of Marbella’s fastest growing and in my personal opinion, musically best radio stations on the coast.

Concentrating on Deep house and soulful grooves, this is the sort of radio station pushing out more of the music I personally love. After our meeting and talks on technology and fun stuff, I now have a new radio slot from 6-7 on a Friday evening playing a perfect summer selection. Deep soulful house from the Tito perspective gets a new chance to shine.

It is also with regret that with this new move I have now moved from my previous station The Beat (strangely also on 106FM). I had some great show there and would like to express my thanks and gratitude for giving me their airtime.

The new move to Beachgrooves means I now have the ability to return to my original format of live mixing, as well as the chat both over the air and online.

Beachgrooves radio: available on the FM along the Costa del Sol and also 24/7 online. The Gospel returns and grows from strength to strength.

Sylt, Marbella - Beach bar - Chiringuito

Checking out…Sylt Beach Bar, Marbella

One of the joys about running events is getting to do this; going to a beach bar, sitting “ON THE BEACH” and enjoying a beer (or two), all in the name of “work”. Today is no exception.

I’ve come today to visit a bar I first saw last year at the opening party of a local radio station, Beachgrooves (www.beachgrooves.com). I arrived at the party expecting to “show face” and spend half an hour there…4 hours later I was still there trying (in vain but not with too much effort) to drag my sorry self away. A very enjoyable event. Anyway, enough about that, on to the bar.

The bar is beautifully located on the coast with 180 degree panoramic views of the sublime Mediterranean sea. On arriving here to check it out, the bar is slightly smaller than I remembered from last year but still holds it’s laid back vibe and serenity. So far, looking good.

It’s a typical churinguito (beach bar) but with a little extra added style . Simple in it’s layout but totally relaxed, comfortable and, very important for me, clean.

Location wise, there seems to be very few residential properties around making the opportunity of “beach music” possible. We shall see if this ans out…
