As you know (or I hope you do) I produce a weekly video show on SOS Radio (http://www.saveoursoul.es/mix) and this week I thought these guys would be a perfect musical topic.

On the night of broadcasting my live internet radio show, I was lucky enough to be joined in the chatroom by the guys themselves. They caught wind of the show via one of my Twitter posts and decided to check out what this it was all about. Alex and Leigh, gawd bless ya for joining in the show – Great to have you there, a pleasure to “meet” you and I’m even more delighted that you enjoyed the tribute.
When I first decided to showcase these track I was (very pleasantly) surprised that these guys had produced so much extremely good music. Was a pleasure mixing the tracks and the audience were very open and honest with all of the wonderful comments I was receiving throughout the performance.
With newer tracks coming out through Reel People Music and Papa Records, The Layabouts aren’t about to stop doing what they do so well.
