Weekend diary of a DJ – A “Sleepless Elite” weekend out!
I’ve been dubbed by a very good friend of mine as “The Sleepless Elite” mainly because of my lack of ability to sleep at weekends 🙂 This weekend is lining up to be yet another epic time full of deep soulful house music for my Sleepless Elite identity….
Living and being a DJ here on the south coast of Spain has given me some great opportunities and this weekend is certainly one of those times….On Saturday 23rd July, Save Our Soul return to do what we enjoy doing best…daytime parties – We started on the beach and this time we’re by the pool and bringing you some deep soulful house grooves from the great outdoors.
Join us at Splash, Riviera, next Saturday the 23rd July from 2pm, for a day of scorching sunshine, sweet deep & soulful house music, scarily addictive cocktails, giant sunbeds, great people and really affordable prices…

Part FOUR of my epic weekend (Sunday 24th July) takes me onto the beautiful area of Tarifa and the equally beautiful club, Cafe del Mar. I’ve had the pleasure of DJing down at Cafe del Mar a number of times now this (and last) year and while it’s a fair old drive to get there, it’s always worth it – The venue, the people, the management…everything about it makes me smile; and a perfect way to round off the weekend. Here’s an example of what what goes on down there…
