Those who have been following the regular radio show know how I’ve been battling with my kit so please forgive the technical errors that have arisen purely out of my old battle torn Stanton decks fighting a last stand (s.250 decks and a SMX.211 mixer for those interested).
Also Sennheiser HD-25 headphones make you sound like you’re on the moon when you use them as a mic (so I’ve been told) – another technical failure during the show when I decided to upgrade the mic and ended up buggering it up totally. Watch the video and this may make a bit more sense to you…
ANYWAY, some big choons in the bag tonight and I had a lot of fun playing them…Some tracks that stood out for me include “I Left It On Hi” (No-Solo Mix) Chris Forman feat. Terrance Downs, T3N’s Live for Now (this track causes pain with pleasure it’s so good), Moody by DirtyTwo (the Butt Jackin mix is sure to stomp any dancefloor) and of course the Muthafunkaz hit “I do love you” from the Muthalode Reloaded Album. Another I’d like to throw in there is “I Trust You (Psalms 143) The Sy Sez remix is moving me 🙂
I’ve included a number of tracks from Soulplate Records this week – Not been in contact with these guys for a while so nice to be spnning your tracks again – Many thanks to Chris Beck over at the Soulplate camp (Monica on this tracklist is a beauty)
