Welcome back, beautiful people. Today’s session dives straight into the good energy with Tonbe & Rescobar’s “You Can Do It (2025 Mix)” — a track that embodies everything I love about Nu Disco. It’s hopeful, textured, and full of that gentle warmth that sets the tone for an evening of soulful connection. Tonbe has long been one of the underground’s quiet craftsmen, building bridges between classic disco sensibility and modern sound design.
I’m also shining a light on Seamus Haji and Those Guys with “I Walk Alone (For Your Love)”, a masterclass in vocal-driven house that reminds us how timeless emotive songwriting can be. Haji’s production carries those unmistakable echoes of 90s soul while pushing forward with modern polish.
Shawn Christopher and Dave Lee ZR return with “People Of All Nationz”, bringing that unmistakable message of unity and groove. Dave Lee’s decades of shaping the house sound flow through every chord change — it’s a dancefloor sermon for the global family.
Then there’s Birdee, whose track “Movin’ On” feels like a radiant nod to post-lockdown optimism — a slice of sunlit disco revived for now. Few producers manage to sound as uplifting without turning to nostalgia.
Finally, I revisit Masters At Work and India’s classic “Backfired”—reworked here by Joey Negro. It’s a reminder of the lineage that binds house heads across generations — the rhythm, the vocals, the pure feeling that connects New York basements to global terraces.
These tracks together speak to one truth: house music always was, and always will be, about spirit and togetherness.
